Riverfest Kicks Off Friday!

Fun in the sun is headed for the Columbia Basin on August 25-27th at Crescent Bar. Nestled down on the Columbia River, just below Quincy, lies the community known as Crescent Bar. This island community is well known for is watersports activities. Vacationers and residents have been coming for years to enjoy it’s unique views of the basalt cliffs.

The 3rd Annual Crescent Bar River Fest is a festival to celebrate the history and future of this unique recreational community featuring a multitude of fun, family friendly events throughout the weekend, co-hosted by the INT League and Crescent Bar Recreation Area.
The festival will feature many events over the course of three days centered around a watersports competition. There will be a waterski clinic, opening night party & wine tasting at Tower Pizza, amateur waterski and wakeboard competition, a VIP wake surf experience, classic car cruise in, motorcycle rally, live music, a beer and wine garden, farmers market, Sunday brunch at the Sunfire Grill, golf tournament and more.

Crescent Bar’s secluded back passage is the perfect venue for a watersports event thanks to the high cliffs and narrow channel which protect it from wind and waves. This location was one of Washington’s first waterways used for competitive slalom skiing over 50 years ago.

Grant County PUD has been renovating the space for the last 11 months and has made numerous improvements to the facilities including a new 55-unit camp ground, walking path, improvements to the boat launch and marina, new kids play area and move. Come see for yourself the exciting changes at Crescent Bar!

This event is free for spectators. At Crescent Bar River Fest friends and families make wonderful memories for a lifetime!
